How long have you worked at the Wayzata Legion?

I have volunteered at the Legion for about 15 years but have "officially" worked for them about 2 years.

What is your favorite Legion menu item and why?

My favorite item is Broasted Chicken but when that isn't served I am a fan of the Philly Sandwich.

What is your favorite activity at the Legion and why?

I like going to the Legion to watch sports. All the TVs and comfortable atmosphere is nice.

What is a favorite memory of the Legion?

The best memory I have of the Legion is my first bartending shift. It was super busy and customers were very nice and understanding as I struggled.

What is the best-kept secret about the legion?

The Legion is a hidden gem in Wayzata as the best place to "come as you are" to eat and drink. Dress up if you want or come after a long day working. Everyone is welcome.

How do you like to spend your time when you’re not at the Legion?

When I am not at the Legion I am usually working on other things. I like to stay busy.

What three things would you take with you to a deserted island?

I would take my phone, solar power to charge my phone and a boat to get off the island.

What’s your favorite chore around the house?

Vacuuming I am good at. It's quick, easy and looks good right away.

What’s something surprising that not many people know about you?

Most people wouldn't know that I was a Homecoming King candidate in college at St. Cloud State.
